Not a great start to 2009

What a week I had last week......on Thursday I found out I need to have knee surgery (booked for February 2nd) and then on Friday I got laid off. Hmmm. My guardian angel must be on vacation. But never fear, I shall bounce back, and that other door is going to open, right?
